This CBC news website article shows you how you can use the “waste” from normal kitchen produce to regrow these plants into fresh luscious produce for a later meal. I am positive, if you have never seen this before, that both you and your children will delight daily in watching the progress of your little window sill garden adventure. And all it takes is what you would otherwise have thrown away, some clear glass jars, and fresh water! What could be more simple and elegant than that!
